i5 2500 Ram

Hello just wondering if I can still use higher frequency ram with an i5 2500 that stated is compatible(Up to 1333mhz), also using an old motherboard on h61 chip set pulled from a Aspire pc

think you might be limited to 1600mhz max on h61 chipsets

Aslong as it'll boot with my current setup I'm not bothered switching to 1150 soon so looking into new ram.

yh ram speed wont add much extra performance anyway
