Hey, i recently built a new computer and it has a utility to check temps and overclock etc (P67 fatal1ty performence) and my temputure is always 70c when im doing something... 40ish when not. My heatsink seems to be fitted well. Any suggestions? Also cpu always changes itself with the voltage as it's all auto. and not oced

You have bad contact between the cooler and the chip package I reckon. The stock Intel push pins are a PITA at the best of times, any broken or not clipped in properly? Do you have any thermal paste to hand?

^^ Too much can be as bad as too little. You only need it to fill the minuscule gaps between the chip package and the heatsink

Hmm, i found out one reason why it is soo hot... my front fan is bust... Is i t safe to have side case off for little while? and i need new heatsink as well i suppose

Your CPU shouldn't be 70+c on the stock cooler at stock clocks/volts regardless of case fans, unless you are running the PC in a Tupperware box...

Well with the case im running at 40-45. And just ordered new fan. 40-45 is ok for stock right? in 2 weeks ill buy a gelid or something heatsink.

40-45 is about right I think, though I've never used a stock cooler (well since the Athlon XP era anyway :p) 70 odd is a problem though

would still go as far as saying that is quite hot, my Bulldozer (which is apparently hotter running) runs cooler than that, both idle and load on stock cooler, even when clocked to 4.0GHz, don't use stock cooler anymore because its far too noisy but it worked quite alright, has to be bad contact surely.
