i5 2500k overclock - how long before considered stable?

Rum Prime95 for well over 7hrs, also use Intel burntest set to extreme and multiple (20+) runs/tests.

Now I dont think thats entirely an unstable OC. Mine fails to respond after I put it to sleep and a lot of people say its down to either the PSU or thr GPU. Both of these worked perfectly when I was using it with an AMD PIIx3, so Im assuming its either the i5 or (and this is what Im pinning it on) is the P67 board.

Just put it into sleep mode and try turning it back on to see if that is a problem or not.

In regards to the level of testing:
I test with IBT on High for 5 tests, I dont really use the computer enough to warrant a lengthy test. 7 hours of prime....thats my average 2 days use of the computer :p

Intelburntest or LinX (same thing) are good benchmark to use as they stress all the cores. I ran my 2500k at 4.5GHz with 50 iteration and it's stable. The benchmark will be able to detect instability within the first few iterations.
