i5 2500k overclocking, throttling?

Hi I have a quick question,

Have just got a 2500k cpu and asusrock motherboard. Have only used AMD really so Intel is new to me!

I set the chip to 48x100 at 1.4 volts however when in windows if i turn prime95 or intelburntest and view the cpu speed it drops to about 4.2-4.4 ghz

The temperatures all seem fine so I don't think it's thermal throttling.

Could someone help

Do a search! Loads of threads about this recently. Look up long and short duration power limits, you need to tweak those settings.
