Hello, i have a i5 2500k do you guys think its time to upgrade?
This is gonna be a bit hard for me atm as im gonna to upgrade the cpu, mobo, ram?!
i use it for gaming only...
Atm i have this

I5-2500k
Gigabyte z68ap-d3 rev 1
16GB Ram ddr3 1600mhz
Asus Strix rx 480 8GB OC

Tbh i dont have issues with games, only thing i do notice is on BF1, for some reason when i try to play on ultra it fails a bit? i have stuttering and some lagg.
Should a i5 2500k not oc'd paired with a RX 480 8gb be able to run this on ultra 60fps?
now i have a 32 inch 1980x1080 144hz monitor(got it yesterday,just a experimentation on the big screen material)

can someone help me OC my 2500k? i tried once and it was perfect, last time i tried i messes the voltages and the pc started turning of and on itself loads of times in a row..
Scary moment :D

btw in a near future should i try to upgrade for a i7 2600k or a 2700k?
Might sell my i5 2500k and get one of these if its worth the upgrade

I have a 2500k @4.2Ghz and a 1070

I game at 1440P CPU hits 100% the second I start BF 1070 normally at about 70 to 80% with medium settings

i was going to get a 1440p monitor, didnt because of that, must still look allot better then at 1080p. i got a good deal on a 32inch monitor,1080p...
Its not amazing, but it is huge and looks good, slight ghosting problem.. rest is ok

im thinking of selling my i5 2500k and buy a i7 3770k :D

Just saw one selling in my country for 50£ and im going there on holiday in the end of the week

There is a good video on TB on how to OC this CPU ! Just make sure you have a watercooler or a good cooler before you overclock ! Don't use the standard Fan that come with the CPU !its not designed for the heat from OC , I only O/C mine a few weeks ago and wish I did it sooner , PC runs so much better now and even renders better in sony vegas.

I have oc'd the Cpu to 4.4ghz with my 212x evo dual fan(it looks like a brick inside my pc)
Temps never go up 59c under stress tests or benchmarks :)
