i5 2500K VID Core Temp

I just downloaded and checked Core Temp and it shows my i5 vid as 1.3511 v.

That seems high to me. Is everyone elses like that or am i just unlucky?

Hmm alright i didn't realise it changes when the cpu is under full load. Oops.

VID is not vcore...well not strictly speaking anyway.

Ignore what core temp says as it shows mine as the same,yet i'm running @4.2 Ghz 1.2v.

I see. I was running 4.5ghz @ 1.31. I just suddenly saw that and panicked.

For voltage use CPUZ as this seems to report the correct voltage.

Just out of interest what is stock vcore if running out of the box at 3.3 ? I can't remember, currently I am sat on 3.8ghz @ 1.10, had to crank it down as my house in summer is like a sauna, will crack it back up to 4.4 when the winter kicks in
