The 920 on Extreme mode with 2 fans would be that LOUD you wouldn't want to be in the same room![]()
So it's a bad idea I'm getting a 620 for my cpu?

I'd also probably go gelid tranquilo as its a very good cooler, just at a budget price. Nothing wrong with it and the fan that comes with it is also quiet. Before a custom watercooling setup, I had a H60 and a akasa apache black. Was like a jet taking off before I replaced the fan with the better one, but those aren't cheap! Look at some reviews of the tranquilo before just writing it off on price.
Ok so i just go gelid tranquilo.
I thought that the extra 20-25 pounds would make a diffrence...

If you really want an ALC like the 620, I'd strongly advise getting a better PWM fan like this
YOUR BASKET
1 x Akasa AK-FN058 Apache Black Super Silent 120mm Fan - 4 Pin PWM £13.99
Total : £16.27 (includes shipping : £1.90).

no shout out for Xigmatek Aigir? my idle temp is 24-25 degrees on a 3.2 OC'd to 3.8
AMD phenom
NH-D14 With the fan speed limiter connections on, is still louder than i want my pc to be.
620 + http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-005-AN = Much nicer.
I admit my nh-d14 was really seated correctly, i needed more paste to fix. But actually getting better temps from the 620 atm. Sure this wouldnt of been the case if i reseated, but more than happy with how quiet the 620+ fans i linked is compared.
