So it's a bad idea I'm getting a 620 for my cpu?

If you really want an ALC like the 620, I'd strongly advise getting a better PWM fan like this

Mine's got a gellid tranquillo on it and it's 27-30 idle and 60-68 load.

I'd also probably go gelid tranquilo as its a very good cooler, just at a budget price. Nothing wrong with it and the fan that comes with it is also quiet. Before a custom watercooling setup, I had a H60 and a akasa apache black. Was like a jet taking off before I replaced the fan with the better one, but those aren't cheap! Look at some reviews of the tranquilo before just writing it off on price.

It would most likely be a sub-5 degree difference and the more expensive one would generally end up being louder.

Don't really mind if watercooled or not, just want it really cold and I have been hearing watercooling does a great job. I'll buy those two then I guess.

I admit my nh-d14 was really seated correctly, i needed more paste to fix. But actually getting better temps from the 620 atm. Sure this wouldnt of been the case if i reseated, but more than happy with how quiet the 620+ fans i linked is compared.

Idle Temps mean nothing, and AMD run cooler anyway so you can't compare it to Intel Temps.

You must have done something very wrong with the Noctua, a 620's not even in the same league as an NH-D14 cooling wise.
