I5 2550K motherboard support

I agreed to buy a 2550K in the MM but it appears the motherboard I plan on buying doesn't support it (Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 REV 2.0) which is really frustrating. When agreeing to buy the CPU I just assumed that every motherboard that supports the 2500k would support the 2550k. Have I made a mistake buying a 2550k or do i just need to try and find another motherboard?

The CPU Support List on the Gigabyte website lists the 2550k as 'N/A' which means not supported.

The 2550k is supported on that motherboard, n/a is for the gpu frequency.
