i5 3570k OEM ?

I only know that the OEM i5 3570k doesnt come with a heatsink/cooler and that it has a shorter warranty , i wanted to ask what sort of packaging the OEM comes in and should i buy it to save a few £ since i already have a cooler.

Also is the OEM the exact same as the retail boxed version ?

i bought a i5 2500K OEM n it came in a small white box. as u have a cooler go for the OEM if u dont mind the shorter warranty
it is the same as what comes in the retail box.

Thanks that is all i needed to know , yer im not worried about the warranty i was more concerned if it was going to come damaged due to crappy packaging but that sounds fine.

the packing was ok for mine. just a white box as said, filled with foam to protect it.
but currently the retail is cheaper than the OEM

At OcUK the retail version is currently £6 less than OEM.
