Hi,
I had my i5 clocked to 4.4 up until yesterday, i took it back to stock because i felt my settings were causing instability. I had random freezes now and then with no bsod, after taking it back to stock it seems fine.
My settings were as follows,
44 multi
high llc
offset +0.050
ram set via xmp @ 1600mhz
everything else was on auto (i think)
hwmonitor and other monitoring software was showing vcore at around 1.136-1.144 while under load, this just seems too low for the overclock based on what others have been using.
I read someone else thread yesterday and they were recommended to use the following on a very similar setup;
low llc, -0.010 offset 45 multi
They had a similar board (asus) so i thought it would probably work for me, it didn't
Looking is the bios its shows the vcore around 1v so am i right in assume i need a + offset to increase the voltage? or am i using the wrong llc settings.
Any help would be appreciated.
