i5 3570K Overclocking Help

What are the specs of your rig ?
Overclocking is done in the BIOS by changing the multiplier and then running stress tests. If the system crashes up the voltage a notch.
You're probably looking at 4.4Ghz with ~1.2v and a max temp of ~70c
You'll need a good cooler of course, the OEM isn't good enough.

The guide I linked to isn't bad. Do you know how to get into the BIOS ?
What exactly is the issue ?

I have same chip, board, cooler. Bios settings are "cpu clock 44. Turbo Power Limit 250. Core Power Limit 250. Cpu cll 1.65. Cpu Vcore 1.25." for a 4.4ghz OC.

The guide you provided only shows the settings to 4.8GHz, do I not need to go up each GHz step by step?

There are many others. Google for overclocking on the D3H.
But look at the quote above.
"cpu clock 44. Turbo Power Limit 250. Core Power Limit 250. Cpu cll 1.65. Cpu Vcore 1.25." for a 4.4ghz OC."

1) Get into BIOS
2) Change CPU clock to....ooooh....42 say
3) Save to CMOS and restart
4) Test with Real Temp and prime95. If temps go too high your cooling is insufficient or your volatge is too high. If it BSODs try upping the CPU volatge a little and trying again. If everything is OK...
1) Go into BIOS
2) Change CPU clock to 43 and off you go again
etc

With good cooling you should see a 44 Multiplier, at around 1.2v with peak temps of 70c as achievable.
