So i went into my mobos bios and i selected offset mode and the offset voltage to -0.65. I am at 1.016-1.032V (i have overclocked to 4.2GHz) and i have been running PRIME9 for half an hour and temps are at mid 60's.

Im thinking of going to 4.4-4.5Ghz. So then i would have to increase voltage by a bit at a time, until its stable right? Sorry, just need some reassurance, first time OCing with the bios.

yes just use less - offset so maybe -0.010v then see if your stable if not reduce it further or switch to a positive offset to add so maybe +0.005 or +0.010v

what are you specs? just been doing an overclock on my 3570k and 4.6 was too much using IBT my vcore for 4.5 is 1.260v with a positive offset of 0.060v and llc-turbo. but tbh i've not tried to reduce the volts since coming down from 4.6.

have you used intel burn in test? or played any games with it yet?
