Bearing in mind I just bought Samsung Green DDR3, base on lower power consumption against some other RAM I viewed at a similar price point. Maybe a modest over clocked 3570k is a direct rival to my main choice of 2500k and the "elastic trickery" meter will groan a little less when I turn my gaming pc.

Whilst I do like to OC, I'm not hard core. I tend to stay fairly modest (on air) as I can't afford to PUSH my gear to the limit and risk it... I was going to dabble in a corsair H80 this time around for an i5 2500k but time will tell!
