So, i might have to bring my upgrade plans forward

ACC ultrawide 34inch 1440p resolution. All high settings

Practise with no other cars = 140fps
Full grid race = 65fps

I didnt realise the impact a cpu could have

Yeah, you need a really highend CPU for the latest round of cards.

Significant CPU bottleneck is likely. No way a Haswell chip is going to be taxing a 30 series card - the same problem for me if I upgraded .

That CPU is 7 years old so you can't really expect to run a modern high GPU on it even at 4K.

Either a 11400F + B560 if you want a cheap upgrade or go ryzen 5000 if you want to push the boat out, both option will perform about the same at 1440 UW and max out the card.

Yeah I am feeling a bottleneck with a 3770k and a 1080, let alone a 3080!
