i5 4690k @ 4.7Ghz to Ryzen 1700?

I've been 'looking' at Ryzen for a little while so to prove that I need it, just ran the below:

BF4 @ 1400p with my two 980Ti's clocked at 1.4Ghz. All four cores on my CPU where pegged at 100% util. Do you guys think my CPU is now holding the system back? Been hovering over the Ryzen buy button for a while now. Have I just found the reason to do it?

If you are constantly hitting 100% CPU usage in gaming, then you are hitting a CPU limit.

I'm currently on a haswell xeon. My ryzen mobo has just arrived im about to start building. I've taken a few benchmarks of this before I dismantle and will post new ones on here once up and running if you like.
Your scores will no doubt differ as my xeon is only running at 3.7 but should give you an indication

Bounces around 120 to 144. All in game settings maxed.
