i5 4690k high temps

I have an i5 4690k cpu which runs at 3.8 and when gaming on battlefield 4 im getting temps of 60-70 degrees. I tested the cpu on prime 95 and the temps went all the way up to 95-99 so i switched it off. The cooler im using is a TX3 EVO. Are my temps really high or normal for an i5 4690k undr load?

my temps at idle are 30-40. When playing unreal tournament and dirt rally im getting 50-60

i just removed the cpu cooler and the thermal paste looks good to me. I may think about getting a new cooler. Would you say 50-60 when gaming is ok just get a bit warmer when playing bf4 all my other games run at 40-50

in prime95 though after 3 mins it goes to 90

cpuz says the core volt is 1.096 under full load

just ordered a cm 212 hyper cpu cooler. Hope it makes a difference

i think it will be the fixings on the cpu cooler. They are just crap they are made from plastic and just hold in place

so installed the new cpu cooler and getting much better temps. Idle 24 and prime 95 15 mins 54. Must have been the poor screws that my old cooler had. Thanks for everyones input

How do I go about over clocking to say 4ghz with my 4690k

Think i will leave it for now. My games all hit good fps anyway now so no need. Does say 4.4 ghz vs 3.8 make a big fps difference when gaming ?

Used easy tune last night and overclocked to 4.1. Seemed too easy to do it using easy tune. Is it OK to overclocked through that or better through the BIOS before windows starts.
