Hello guys,
I know there are numerous threads about overclocking the i5 4670k, but i have been messing around for around a month now trying to get a stable overclock, but my system is having non of it, so i want you ask you guys here, see if you had any idea's maybe?

Okay so my systems specs are as follows:

i5 4670k
Gigabyte Z87-D3HP
8GB Avexir 2400mhz RAM
2x 500GB HDD's
2x 250GB HDD's
630W PSU
In terms of cooling i am using the Bequiet! Shadow rock Pro SR1

As of now i don't have a dedicated GPU, so any problems relating to those can be ruled out.

So the problems i have been experiencing are as follows:
Random BSOD's ending in the x101, or x124 codes.
Random whole system lock ups, what even the reset button cannot make it reset.

Currently i am @4.1GHZ but even that still crashes, so what would be the best thing for me to do guys, what is the Vcore i should be at? Currently i'm @1.55 i think is that too high?

I'm pretty noob at all this, but i really want to get a 4.2ghz stable overclock, so what can i do to maybe get that?
Any help from you guys is greatly appreciated :)

Many thanks for reading.

101 error is not enough cpu voltage

same with 124 error, but can also be not enough cpu memory controller voltage

1.55v isn't to high,might need between 1.2-1.3v for 4.5ghz
