First post on here but after seeking help elsewhere thought I would ask here as well.
Just purchased an I5-6500 and DDR3 MOBO to go along with my DDR3 Ram I have just now. I wasnt aware that the skylake didnt support DDR3.
I have managed to underclock my RAM to 1333mhz and 1.35v on my old MOBO and it ran fine.
Would this be fine once I fitted my new MOBO and CPU obviously I would need to change in BIOS again once fitted, just want to make sure my CPU will be fine.
