Are those temps in the 'High' column on full load with prime95?

They look like general use/idle temps.

Lots of headroom for overclocking with low temps like those.

The i5 750 has a recomended thermal limit of around 73C.

I would say you had around 10C to play with on load. Prime95 really works the heat up, nothing else comes close IMO.

I've got an easy 4GHz from my 750 using a Cooler Master V6gt. I'm sure it can go further, and intend to do some more fiddling at some point. Core temperatures are low 70's on Prime.

Hey,

i get those temps with my CPU at idle running 4.0Ghz, when benching 4.2Ghz is the max i normally go, temps dont change, i think what limits me is the RAM lol

I use a thermaltake FRIO. IMO the best aircooler money can buy

I'm not sure what settings I need to change in the bios but I need to change my cooler for a sealed waterloop or a custom one before I start clocking these up.
