i5 750 problem? or not?

I've just built my first ever system today and I'm not sure wether I've got a problem here or not. I'm looking at core temp and cpuz and my 750 is sitting at a core speed of 1230.2Mhz with a multiplyer of 9. Is this normal? Or is there something wrong?

Oh an I've not touched any bios settings.

that will be speed step, it basically turns down your speed untill you need it then ramps it up when you do, nothing to worry about. if you want you can turn it off in the bios and it will sit at the full 2.6ghz

Yeah, speed step for sure. Keep CPU-Z running and run a few programs, to see it jump back up to the proper speed....
