i5 750 upgrade advice

So my i5 750 @ 4ghz is starting to show it's age, i've been looking around and can get an Asus P8Z77-M and an i5 2500k or i5 3570k for around £150, is this worth bothering with or should i just stick with what i have?

With current ram prices im not even going to consider anything thats going to require buying new ram.

Well, I think it's well worth it. But then I am one for upgrading, so perhaps not the best one to ask!

Yeah, it's worth it. Was a lot of design tweaks from 1st gen to 2nd

Assuming they overclock as well as your current then it'd be worth it, you'd be looking at a double the performance.

An extra £60 on you budget and you could get a quad core Ryzen, 8GB of TeamGroup DDR4 and a basic AM4 board...
