Hey, I want to get my i5-750 to 3.8 or 4.0 and wanted to know what V-core i will need to use or how i find out what v-core i need, also if im overclocking do i need to change any other voltage settings in the BIOS other than v-core?

I think 1.3v would be a nice voltage to start with at 3.8ghz, if its stable try increasing clock until you run into trouble. Can't help with anything else, never overclocked i5 quad core.

thats great thanks! ill look it over it now. I ran Linpack for an hour and had a high temp of 50oc with 1.3 vcore at 3.6ghz so is that stable? sory but this is my first overclock and i really dont want to mess up.

i just cleaned out my pc and installed my new corsair A70 yesterday, my idle temps are about 20oc so im pretty happy with it.

Still need to know if theres any other voltage other than vcore i need to use to overclock my cpu.
