I'm rather new to the overclocking scene so thought I would take on a small overclock and ask for advice before I go diving right into the deep end and end up murdering my components.

I have read through a number of overclocking guides from here and other sites and have managed to achieve 3.8GHz using the following settings which are stable through 3 hours of prime 95 and several runs of IBT using maximum with my cpu temps hovering between 45-49 degrees C.

Do these settings appear ok to those of you in the know? (Not sure if more info is needed mind) I plan to perform a longer stress test using prime95 over night but thought I would ask here before kicking it off again.

Thanks :)

Hi and welcome to the forums. :)

Looks good to me. Nice low volts as well. Mine needs 1.275v for 4Ghz. If this is stable then the next step would be to increase the multiplier to 20x. That may need some tweaking of the voltages though.

Mine also needs around 1.25-1.275V for 4Ghz, but I run mine at 3.8Ghz due to the extra heat and voltage for 200Mhz in my mind isnt worth it. A personal choice though, one which is subject to change lol. For 3.8Ghz I used 1.15V, 1.144V in CPU-Z.
