Last night my aio failed and may have fried my cpu during a COD session.

First no post to bios on restart. In my worry to diagnose the issue I pulled the cpu out reseated it with new thermal paste and a stock air heatsink and fan. I am now getting a continuous beep on boot and still no power up of the screen. I've cleared bios looked, swapped out ram etc.

Do any of you lovely people love around fife and could chuck the cpu into their board to test or have a spare cpu that would run on a h370 chipset to help me narrow down the issue.

I thought cpus protected themselves against overheating, maybe reseat everything, Unplug everything that does not need to be attached to get a post screen and try 1 stick of ram

It did shutdown but wouldn't boot back up I'm a totally hoping I've just bent a pin on the mobo as there is one that looks a bit different than the others i just don't have the manual dexterity to go prodding about the pins

I am afraid it does sound like it's popped it's clogs. I would just buy another, but buy from somewhere you can return it without giving a reason.
