Can't go wrong with a good 650W Corsair. There are alternatives, but that's just the 'benchmark' for great quality PSUs.

Well, I've hopefully taken onboard your suggestions and advice and have revised my config...

Now, just to point a few things out...

OS: The reason I've gone with Pro, is that the PC will be used for work (which requires Oracle) & some gaming e.g. CoD

I'd like to be able to upgrade at a later date if required. Would like to add another GFx when cash flow allows.

My choice of monitor will be Samsung SM2233BW 22", although this will have to wait for the time being and maybe someday two of them :eek:

One last thing which might seem like an odd question...

If I was to buy the components in two stages e.g. over 2 months, and part build it and then complete the build when I have the rest, what would you buy first and then last?

GFX card is only going to get cheaper as time goes by (excluding VAT increase of course) so leave that til last if you already have one to keep you going

If you're intending to oc the cpu then get some faster memory, for another 12 quid you can get the G Skill Ripjaw 2000MHz stuff.
