I currently have the Arctic Freezer 13.

Was wondering if there is anything better?

Looking for something quieter, if there is anything.

Would also have to fitin a FRactal Design 3000.

Looking at my current temps and fan speed etc, what would people suggest?

CPU Temp. 29/30C

Yet the fan is still at 1160RPM.

Surely it should drop lower then that? I thought the Freezer 13 had RPM from 600-2000. Granted it can't always run at 600RPM, otherwise things wuld get a little toasty.

But, if im sat doing nothing, and my PC isn't, shouldn't it be dropping?

I've had a look in the BIOS at the PWM

On my board (Z68AP-D3) It has. Normal, Silent, Manual, Disbaled.

Normal has a pWM Slope of 1.75
I've manually set it to 1.50

Silent has a setting of 1.0.

Does this make snese to anyone? Im tempted to try it on silent.

Had a bit of a fiddle using EasyTune

PC doesnt seem any quieter though :S

Edit: GPU Seems to be the noiseist thing i have now! Inno3D GTX560 Ti. Fan speed alwys seems to be at 40% sits at around 35/40C idle. Is it worth replacing the stock cooler?
