Hi,

I want to load 8GB of memory on my new build with an i5 CPU and Gigabyte P55M-UD2 mobo. I will probably NOT overclock or may overclock a little.

What memory will give me the best performance for around £150? Crucial's CT2KIT25664BA1339 4GB kit (2x2x2GB = 8GB) seems priced around £150.

Any advice welcome.

Thanks

800mhz RAM is far cheaper than any 1066mhz set. I recommend getting a 2x(2x2gb) of cruicial or OCZ ram which could quite easily be bumped up to clock at 1066mhz. You will only need to spend about £100 or less on this. You just gotta make sure not to get the cheap 800mhz stuff as that won't handle an overclock.
