i5 overclock

Okay so ive overclocked my intel i5 to 4.5 nd evan when i right click my computer it says 4.5 but then while ago i changed back to defualt, but then went back to 4.5 but now it only says its at 4.0 :S evan tho in my bios its at 4.5 and when i use speccy it says 4.0 too whys this?

Becuase windows is terrible.

What does CPU-Z say? Take that as gospel, my windows still thinks my 2500k is at 3.3, no clue why..

Download CPUZ. Then see what that says. I don't think Windows reports overclocks correctly.

when i went into my bios to go to defualt it didnt do nothing
