A little above average. Chip should he good for another 500mhz but doubt cooler going to handle it too well.

do you think its the cooler thats not handling the cooling? have another fan to add to it so its in push/pull,

im just wondering if maybe i didnt apply the thermal paste properly, i put a small amount the size of a pea on the cpu the fitted the cooler to the top and clamped down tighting the screws equally, think i did it right but i thought with the antec and a 4ghz overclock i would be running cooler than i am.

If those were my temps, I'd be a little concerned, but not too much.

Ideally you want to keep it below 70c at load.

What is your vcore set at? and did you set it manually, or was it set to "auto" in the BIOS.

Some boards have a tendency to over do the vcore increase a bit when overclocking on auto which in turn would increase the temps.

I get 68-70 degrees on a 4.5Ghz OC with a vcore of 1.31V. So I'd say unless your rocking a massive VCore there is something wrong and I have at a guess its the cooler. But like already asked what is your VCore?

I use the Corsair H60 cooler which is an outstanding cooler IMO
