i5 thermal paste for cooler?

Does anybody know if the i5 2500k and its stock cooler comes with any thermal paste? I am just doing a new system build at the moment and the i5 I have and its stock cooler I can't remember if any came in the box or not and if I've just misplaced it.

Is some did come with it and I can find it, is it any good to use or would you recommend getting some MX4 or Silver 5 instead?

Intel stock coolers come with paste pre applied to the base of the cooler. Id only go for some new paste if adding a new aftermarket cooler, though most of theese will come with the manufacturers own brands which are pretty good.

Thanks! I never thought about that. I will have to open up this Gelid and see if they have some in there otherwise I'll probably buy some Silver 5.
