what i5 gives the best bang for buch when not overclocking and are any of the onoe k chips any good for a little light oc'ing

Go for the 3570k on any z77 board and click the auto OC button, zero effort these days, though you can do better than the auto setup does if your interested in putting in the effort

EDIT: theres no k overclock being added to most z77 boards but not sure how good it is

so after reading my question witch none k chip is best bank for buck

its going in a itx board and the extra heat from oc'ing means i cant do it. i was running a stock i3 2120 and it was running hot

Temp is more depended on the airflow of your case though. Also, if you have a relatively small mini-itx case with restricted airflow, then all-in-one water coolers would work better than most heatsink.

no room.

FSB hasn't existed for years.

As marine says, an AIO (While I hate them) will suit this, go for the cheapest i5 you can to be honest.

so an 3330
