Hi, after lots of research on these board (thanks) have spent the weekend building a new rig with the following:

i7 12700k
Liquid Freezer II 240
MSI Tomahawk Z690 WIFI
Lancool 215 case
32GB Viper Steel Ram
Old (for now) 1050TI GPU
M.2 500GB SANRIENT ROCKET

System boots into BIOS, fans all work, but in the BIOS page the core CPU temp shoots up quickly to the point the motherboard send the warning (at which point I ams shutting down) by which time it is in the 90s. Have loosened off and re-tightended the cooler block, but still the same. Any troubleshooting tips? - thanks

UPDATE - after reapplying the thermal paste and tightening it all back down I seem to be settling in mid 50s whilst in BIOS - no idea if that is about right or not. Still not 100% sure about pump speed as the mono is not reporting it (have tried to set pump speed to 100% regardless of CPU temp). Anyone using this could share how they have set up in BIOS would be most appreciated (I'm am using an MSI z690 BOARD), Thanks for the help so far

Thanks for the further comments, haven't had much time to progress anything the last few days but will pick up again on Friday - first thing I will do is check the fan speed profiles - they may be running to low which in turn is keeping the pump running low. Will update in sure course!
