i7 2600(non k) to i7 4770k cheap upgrade - worth it?

Hi guys,
I've got an opportunity to swap my 2600 and gigabyte g77-dh3 board for a 4770k (plus currently unknown board) for ~£40.

Is it a worthwhile exercise do you think? Obv will need to do a full reinstall and all that and know that they are both reasonably old chips now but is still a cheap upgrade.

gpu is an RX480/8 if that makes any difference?
