Have you linked your forum account to your shop account?

I assume you've realised that Sandy Bridge is dual channel so you want 2 or 4 sticks of RAM not the 3 stick kit you linked to in the OP.

Why are you spending £65 on 8GB of RAM?

This will do you nicely:

Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit £41.99 This Week Only.

Or if you prefer Corsair:

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit £49.99

Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit £49.99

The HyperX or XMS3 will have better compatability with large CPU coolers as the large heat spreaders on the old style Vengeance can get in the way.

CAS8 instead of CAS9 makes bugger all difference for Sandy Bridge.

The Best Memory for Sandy Bridge

I will be using the H60 Cooler.. kk thats why I was looking at that ram as its C8.

What about this stuff
CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 link http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MY-310-CS seen that thats 16GB

You mean this?

If you need/want 16GB then that's fine.

You could also buy 2x8GB kits of the HyperX for £84.

If this is a gaming rig, and judging by the GTX 570's it is, then 8GB is plenty.

I can't really say anything though, I bought 16GB just because I could and RAM's cheap at the moment.

Thats what I'm thinking about the ram may as well get a big hit at one go. I do some video editing and quite a bit of photo shop work on it.

And yup thats the stuff :) ..wonder if a mod can sort out the delivery for me .. could order it now :D(sic hint hint)

erm maybe a dumb question but how do you link em? erm nm saw how :p

No the cards your using will be fine its just people shouldnt get that board if they intend on using the igpu but your not so you will be fine.

Cheers m8y
