I7-3770 VS 8350

Hi,

I have an 8350 in my PC at the moment and have an I7-3770. Is the I7 much better?

Its in a Dell pre-built PC at the moment so do I just need a motherboard for it and can I use my current RAM etc and because its in a Dell PC will there be anything locking it down to that PC or can I just remove it and put it in any mobo I want?

Ok thanks, assuming its a non K is it worth shelling out for a mobo for the performance difference and can I use my current RAM?

Its a gaming PC, 1440p with a Fury Nitro and online shooters

Going off the replies I'm going to keep the 8350 in the gaming PC and see if I can swap the whole 3770 CPU, mobo and PSU into another case to replace my current media PC which is a laptop

Dell motherboards don't have the standard layouts so will require some fabrication.
