Hi People.

Just installed my new 3770k cpu, currently running at 4.5ghz at 1.25 volts. I just started from their to test for stability and its been fine (P95 temps at 63c), I will slowly increase multiplier and voltage according to see how fair this CPU can go and see what noticeable benefits if any the extra speed brings, if not i will lower the volts to see how low I can go whilst maintain 4.5ghz.

What is the standard voltage and max voltage for this CPU and what is a reasonable OC & Voltage?

I think stock voltage for 3770k is 1.070v, I think Intel max recommended vcore is 1.52v, but you will be limited by your temperatures long before you reach that voltage :)

I would say a reasonable voltage and overclock is 4.5ghz and around 1.30v if thats prime95 stable. To be honest the difference from say 4.2ghz and 4.5ghz is probably slim to none in most applications, almost certainly in games.
