Hi.
Over the last week I've been upgrading my system. I'm currently on my 2nd motherboard which is an ASUS P8 Z77-V Pro. So far so good. No random crashes, BSOD of general weird stuff going on. The old one was a Gigabyte GA-Z77X.
Anyway I'm looking at the Basic Information Screen in Windows (right click computer and hit properties) and my CPU speed is currently at 2.50GHz. I was under the impression that it was meant to be running at 3.70GHz. Is the 2.50GHz speed correct ? Does it go faster once say a 3D game fires up ?
It's been a seriously long day so my head is not really in the game at the moment so if anyone has two seconds free I'd like an answer so I can go to bed knowing what's what
Ta in advance
