So i needed a new motherboard and PSU to go with my second 580 GTX that my wife bought me for my birthday, decided to get a 2011 rather than a 1366 mobo and opted for a 4 core 3820 as a cheap cpu to go with it.
Once setup, I just went into the bios and whacked up the multiplier to 43 with dynamic voltage, and it was stable straight off, no extra volts.
XMS profile was activated for my ram which is running at 1600mhz nicely with no problems, gotta say, a really nice chip. Once I have let it run through a few heat cycles to settle the thermal paste will try and get some good speed out of it, but so far very impressed with its stability and ease of setup compared to my i7 920.
