Hi,

I bought the i7-3820 from overclockers and it's meant to have a OC profile in the bios from 4.4 - 4.6. However when this profile is loaded it only clocks it to stock 3.7.

Im no expert but what settings do i need to change to get the OC. Is it just the multiplier?

Currently underload the BUS is 100.1 mhz and the multipler is 37 / core voltage 1.2

The board is a Asus Sabertooth x79 with 16 gigs of 1600mhz Quad channel

Also the clock that overclockers put in is varaible as in the clockspeed goes up and down depending on load

Any help would be grateful

Thanks

Nick

The multiplier strap needs to be changed from 1.0x to 1.25x, assuming all the other settings are still correct. (NOTE: DO NOT alter the BCLK, use the BCLK multiplier/strap and change it from 1x100 to 1.25x100)
