Just wondering what the max voltagt you would run through this cpu is. My mobo is Asus rampage IV formula. Been running my cpu at 1.375v since around march 2012, its currently at 4625mhz temps under stress are below 70c. Just wondering if its safe to go past this as i've seen people saying its ok up to 1.45v?

My cooler is Phanteks PH-TC14PE.

1.4 with that cooling. 1.45 good water. Why if your stable with a decent overclock push more volts?? No need!!!

Aim for 4.75 or 4.875 using 125 strap.

No need for more than 1.4v by the looks of your current config.

Or leave as is. You'll only notice a difference in benching.

cant seem to go past 4.7ghz without going past 1.4v unless ive gone wrong somewhere, guessing its just my chip.

Using 37 x 125 at the mo on the 1.25 strap

And what vcore you got going through that?

My sig says 39, but I actually run at 38 on the 125 strap with 125 base. Just a little cooler through the summer months.

Have you fiddled with the LLC yet?

Been using 1.375v from bios with medium LLC on which gives me around 1.384v idle then 1.365ish under load

Also try with low PLL 1.65 or 1.6. Tune the CPU scews too this helps especially when using high BLK.

Sorry to be a pain, could you just check of these settings to see if they are ok.

Looks fine to me.

Is it stable so far?

Prime95 blend for 20min...and using it shows no errors? If so well done, good to go and enjoy.

Pushing it anyfurther will not give you any real world benefits.
