Updated the BIOS on a z87-HD3 from F7 to F8. Of course all settings reset so rather than faff around with the voltages, speeds and such I just changed

Performance Upgrade : 100% Upgrade

That works great. I get 4.7GHz.

The temps are exactly the same as before but the CPU volts is set a bit higher peaking at 1.416 (0.792 min)

Is this OK to run like this? As I say temps are fine, idling at 35' and peaking around 70' under load. Using a H75 for cooling.

Im not a Overclocking Guru, but after having a good read on here.

I believe you could get that clock with much lower volts manually, but I think people have mentioned running 1.4 Voltz through a CPU 24/7 can only speed up degrading, therefore I think the answer is nope 1.4 is to high but I wish someone to confirm.
