I have an AMD 290x which has gone wrong and is being RMAd.

I have the onboard gpu working currently and wonder if its working properly as there is no DX info avaialble and I can not start any basic games as i get an error direct 3d failed to initialize.

does this look normal for an intel 4600 gpu?

Download the drivers from the Intel site.
When I was using my HD4600 I was getting very capable 720p gaming ; Batman Arkham Origins etc.

Thanks people it is selected in the bios and its the only graphics i have connected right now.
I have downloaded the intel gpu drivers off intels site and off the Gigabyte site to see if it helped but the screen shot i took shows this and shows IMO something doesnt look right?

I have tried all sorts and i cant get the onboard gpu to work properly, only thing left is a re install of windows, but im getting usb problems as well, still think it motherboard related.

Imaging system now, going to do a quick re install of windows see if it changes any thing, clean slate and all.

Fresh install and the Intel 4600 is now picked up correctly as follows -

Only thing i can think of that has caused this is DDU latest version.

Not tested with a game yet but it is now being picked up as expected so presuming it will work as it was intended now.

I remember years ago i used a driver cleaner and it caused problems, used to be on driver heaven as it used to be called.
Only reason i tried it was because of the amount of people recommending it on these forums but i shall avoid in the future for sure.
