Hi all. I have recently started overclocking my cpu to about 4.3 and have found 1.22 volts to be good. However I have started seeing crashes when playing battlefield heavily and my pc shuts down. I have noticed on hwmonitor that my vid in my cpu is 1.22 as expected when gaming but what it calls vcore is at about 1.7. I thought that sounded high ( I am having no temp problems, around 61 degrees) so I checked it out in bios and noticed that while the voltage is set to 1.22 the cpu input voltage is set automatically to 1.728 volts. Is this normal or could this be the issue causing crashing.

Again my temps are good and the voltage in cpu z never exceeds 1.22.

Try upping input voltage, it's known as VCCIN on asus boards. It normally should be 0.5v higher than vcore. Ie in my case, 1.300 vcore for 4.7ghz, 1.800 input voltage. Just up the eventual input setting on an asus board, no need to touch initial input.
