It's that time again where I beg for techhead help for a PC upgrade...
Current system:
CPU: i7 4790K (4.4)
Cooler: Dark Rock 3
Motherboard: MSI Gaming 5
MEM: 16GB Corsair vengeance
PSU: SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 750W Fully Modular "80 Plus Gold
SSD: Various sized Samsung EVo SSDs (OS, Gaming etc)
GPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 Ti AMP! Edition 8 GB
CASE: Xigmatek Midgard II Gaming Tower Case - Black
The main use is Gaming (Rust, BF4\2042, Cities Skyline). I know most of the above will not be used in the new rig, so would like a view or two on the proposed build. The PSU is old, and I've had a few failures over the years with other PSU's so would consider replacing this part if recommended. I'll need to reuse the 1070 given the budget and availability of the 30x GTX....
I've opted for two WD nvme drives as I like to keep my OS, Games, Music separate. Is this still a reasonable approach given the nvme technology?
(sorry cannot see the BBCODE option)
