I'm very new to overclocking with this i7 6700k being my first unlocked CPU

Currently i have it on a Corsair Hydro H105 extreme AIO cooler.
Its Auto overclocked via bios with my GA-Z170X-Ultra Gaming motherboard to 4.6ghz.

Would this be considered a decent idle temperature to work from? I tried 4.4ghz earlier and it didnt break 61 degrees under full load.

Any advice would be kindly appreciated.

Edit (10 minutes of heaven benchmark set to max @ 1080p) seemed to peak at 56 degrees:

At 4.6ghz Cinibench crashed almost instantly, at 4.4ghz it finished but i got a black screen half way through and ended up with a 950ish, at "auto" setting 4ghz i didnt get a black screen but only got a score of 894 with a max CPU temp of 58c

Your temps sound fine.

What vcore are you using at 4.6ghz?

I use about 1.3v to get 4.6ghz stable on mine. Temps hit about 70c under full load.

They're fine. 62C on a stress test is actually pretty cool in my books especially at those voltages.

On my 4770k @ 4.3Ghz 1.071v, running linpack mode with OCCT, reaches peak 85/86C - i am using a CoolerMaster 412S though

I use realbench for stress tesing mine, heaven is for stressing the GPU. I'm at 4.6ghz about 1.3V and get low 60's, 4.7 @1.384V gets me to mid 60's.
