I7-7700 compatibility

I have a Asus H170M-E D3 motherboard with DDR3 RAM, I have just bought the I7-7700 cpu and need to know if it will work? Currently have an I3-6320 installed, I have updated my BIOS to 2001 to support Kaby Lake. But I am still unsure if there will be an issue.

99% sure it will work just fine. I mean, if it works with your i3, then why shouldn't it work with i7..
But you got the CPU already, so why don't you just test it? If it works, it'll work. If not, then you will have a black screen.

According to this support page you need BIOS version 2202 which is the latest version

The I3 will work with a much older BIOS.
