i7-7700k not booting as overclocked GHz

Hi there, I'm currently trying to overclock my i7-7700k to 4.8GHz from 4.2GHz. However, it doesn't matter what I change in my BIOS, my CPU does not want to overclock.

Current specs:
i7-7700k
Nvidia 2070 Super
2x16, 2x8 2400MHz RAM
H100i 240mm Water Cooler
ASUS Z270G Motherboard
Corsair RM750i PSU
2TB HDD, 500GB SSD, 1TB M.2

PS. I have tried to OC on an old cooler and got a blue screen prior to installing a new AIO and trying to OC again. I have also tried updating BIOS, to no avail.

Any clarity I would be grateful for, thank you!

Ultimately, you could just have lost the silicone lottery. However, we should at least look at what you're attempting. How are you overclocking, what settings are you changing and what did you change them to? Also, what's your highest stable OC and what settings does that have?

So I was informed of AI Suite, so I've tried that and am currently sitting stable @4.7GHz 1.34V

I'm so confused as to why AI Suite works but my Motherboard BIOS settings don't.
