i7 860 base clock

Hi all.

Currently I've got my i7 860 clocked at:

4Ghz (MULTI @ 22 * BCLK @182)
CPU VOLTAGE: 1.375v
PPL VOLTAGE: AUTO
IMC VOLTAGE: 1.2057v
PCH VOLTAGE: AUTO
DRAM VOLTAGE 1.643v

Now because my i7 860 is locked, the only way I get reach 4.2Ghz is by increasing the base clock. Currently my system is stable, as I've primed for 7 hours, and IBT 50 times using 32 threads to really push my system.

If I increase the base clock by a few Mhz my system starts to play up! I've increased my CPU voltage to 1.43v, but I still have no luck.

Would increasing the PLL voltage help, or should I increase my IMC voltage as my memory is running faster as I increase my base clock.

Thanks (please be nice, I'm just starting out overclocking my system)

Upping the BCLK will also be increasing your ram frequency. Make sure its not running outside its recommended specifications.
If the ram is in spec you can try upping the IMC voltage a notch or two, to hopefully regain stability

It's recommended to have the IMC voltage no lower than 0.3v below the DRAM voltage, so first thing I would do would be up that to 1.35v
