i7 860 vs. i5 750 -- Pci-e Battle

I was educated by the folks in General Hardware that the i5 won't allow 2 pci-e cards at 16x/16x, they are lowered to 8x/8x due to the i5 on-chip controller.

Just wanting to confirm that the i7 860 (also on Socket 1156) is not limited in the same way?
