I never knew about setting the voltage to normal and using dvid instead, ive been overclocking my 920 with just the vcore. For some reason using dvid instead creates all kinds of odd motherboard squeeks/whines, if i go back to using my old method then its completely silent - something to consider for those suffering with coil whine on x58.
Hi again, my mobo is a GIG.X58 UD5 rv2, cracking mobo if you want l'll give you the bios settings for 4.2GHz to use as a guide., using cpu-z > cpu volts 1.31v full load.
